Road - Vagamon is well connected with national highways NH 47 and NH 49 and also by state highways SH 8 and SH 14. Regular buses ply from Kottayam (64 km) and Idukki (65 km) for Vagamon. The best way to reach Vagamon is by bus. The swirling road to Vagamon is cut though rocky headlands with dense population of pine trees. As you swirl your way through meandering road amid green rolling hills, the green plains of Vagamon come into view thousands of feet below, providing a great visual delight to the travelers.
